Discovery Trail 1.5 miles

This is a great all-ability trail for walkers and beginner cyclists. The surfaced trail is accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs it also has regular resting points.

There are fun features along the route for children, regular resting points and some stunning views to be enjoyed.

Raptor Trail – 3 miles

Explore the wide variety of forest environment – suitable for energetic families, with a few steep ascents and descents.

Butterfly Trail – 4 miles

This trail has varied surface and is steep in places.

Go Ape

Haldon Forest is also home to Go Ape for thrill seekers and family adventurers, with hilltop to hilltop zip wire and high level crossings.  Treetop Adventure is designed for younger families in mind, Height restrictions do apply (1m plus), whereas Treetop Challenger is for those more adventurous.

Go Segway

Looking for a fun way to travel through the forest, then why not try a Segway Tour.  Highly recommend.

For our younger guests, there are two play areas. Try to find the Stick Man in the woods!

There are picnic areas around the forest but if you fancy a treat then the Ridge Café do excellent food.
