It was our 5th stay at Alpine Park Cottages. We stayed in a three bedroom which is always spotless and very well equipped. Curtis and Sally always welcome us on arrival and are so friendly. It is in a great location close to beaches, attractions and greendale farm shop. We hope to turn again next year as it our favourite place!

"Relaxing holiday"

Beautiful , well equipped and clean lodge with every home comfort you need! Comfy beds and pillows, lovely towels, TVs in all 3 bedrooms and smart tv in lounge, the weather wasn’t too bad, with heavy rain only, on the morning we left. Ideally situated for World of Country Life and a very short drive to Crealy and the lovely Devon coast. It’s so quiet overnight, a great place to relax.

"A wonderful week in glorious Devon"

star_rate star_rate star_rate star_rate star_rate

We had another fabulous week at our favourite “home from home” and even the weather was perfect! It is impossible to fault this immaculate little park and comfortable, well equipped and beautifully presented cottages, they really do have everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed visits to the beaches at Seaton (with super wheelchair access for our daughter) and Exmouth, not forgetting the vibrant town of Sidmouth nearby. A trip to Exeter shopping and to Crealy were on the cards for the young adults whilst we enjoyed pub lunches and farm shops galore! A half hour drive to Buckfastleigh was worth it for a trip on the South Devon Steam Railway to Totnes which was enjoyed by young and old alike. We are very grateful to our wonderful hosts Curtis & Sally and are pleased to say that we are booked again for next year, so thank you from us all we will be counting down until next summer

"Lovely place to stay and chill with family and friends"

This was our third stay at Alpine Park Cottages, first staying in July 2022. As soon as we arrived our two children were using the playground and enjoying the company of other children. The cottage was very clean and well suited to a family of 4 with 2 friends staying with us. The location of Alpine Park Cottages is great, with many family and couple attractions within a 20 to 30 min drive. Crealy theme park is only 5 minutes drive away! Greendale farm shop and restaurant is very close and highly recommended. Looking forward to returning next year.

"Simply the best"

star_rate star_rate star_rate star_rate star_rate

Just returned from our 11th stay at Alpine and whilst the British weather did its best to disappoint, the hospitality and welcome we received from Sally and Curtis did not.

The cottages (4 and 6 sleepers - with some dog friendly) are really comfortable.

Beds are super comfy and cosy and are made up for your arrival. I always sleep really well. The site is very relaxing and peaceful. Showers are great, instant hot water and pretty powerful. Lovely fluffy bath sheets and hand towels are provided for each guest. Hand soap and toilet rolls are provided too! The cleanliness in the cottages is fabulous, everything is spotless and smells super clean and fresh. Cottages have a well appointed kitchen, with every utensil you could possibly wish for and a dishwasher to wash them all in (dishwasher tablets are provided for the duration of your stay). Dish-clothes, t-towel, hand towel, oven gloves, washing up liquid and hand soap are also provided. There is free wi-fi in all the cottages and flat screen tvs with loads of channels to choose from. A washing machine, tumble drier and washing lines are available as well. There is also a clothes airer, stand-alone fan and Shark vacuum. Cottages are centrally heated should you feel chilly.

All cottages overlook the central grassed area which has a play park for children and picnic benches, alternatively you can sit outside on your patio sipping a chilled drink whilst your kids entertain themselves. There is also a selection of outdoor games. Football nets and crazy golf is available on the top field.

The surrounding area is stunning with plenty of beaches (sand or pebble), beautiful walks, bird spotting on The Otter or Exe Estuaries, amazing views over the whole of the Exe valley. Along with quaint villages - Branscombe - allegedly the longest village in the country - is a must. Lovely beach cafe/restaurant, real ale pubs and totally unspoilt.

Eateries are aplenty with The White Horse, Greendale, The Hare & Hounds (carvery is fantastic), The Bowd (again amazing carvery) and The White Hart, to name but a few, being particular favourites. Also good for food is St Bridget’s Garden Centre, Oak Barn Coffee Lounge and Kings Garden Centre. All offering tasty home cooked meals and snacks.

The Donkey Sanctuary is also a must with a great cafe. No entrance fee just leave a donation for these beautiful and docile animals.

If you are looking for a comfortable, affordable and warm welcome for either yourselves, small family or larger family get togethers (you can book multiple cottages) you will be hard pushed to find anywhere better.

I cannot recommend Alpine Park Cottages enough; 5* does not do it justice. It is an absolute gem

"Lovely lodges on a pretty and well cared for site. Well situated and all for a very reasonable price."

A fabulous place to stay. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The dog friendly lodges are very well maintained, well equipped and comfortable. The park owners Curtis & Sally are really welcoming and friendly. Stay here and you'll be in easy reach of some lovely walks, with breath taking views. If you feel like seeing something a bit livelier, Buddleigh Salterton, Sidmouth, Honiton and Lyme Regis are all just an easy drive away. All this at reasonable prices too. We'll definitely be going back.
