The Taste East Devon Festival starts in East Devon on 9th September and runs till 24th September, with lots of Foodie events happening in the area.

On Saturday 23rd September the fantastic Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce Classic Car Shows takes place at Sidmouth Cricket Club from 11am.  With over 300 classic cars on show and entertainment by the Liberty Shows, is a great show for any car enthusiast.

Lower Otter Restoration Project

The Lower Otter Restoration Project (LORP) was a partnership initiative between landowners Clinton Devon Estates and the Environment Agency to restore the historic floodplain of the Otter estuary near Budleigh Salterton, East Devon. In 2021, the construction part of a 10-year project started on the Lower River Otter and was completed at the end of 2023. In January 2024 the Elizabeth Bridge was opened a 70 metre footbridge spanning the Estuary.
