Cycling
The Exe Estuary Trail cyclepath and walkway, when completed, will run around the entire Exe Estuary linking Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth, Exeter and Dawlish.
The route itself is fairly flat and takes in the most fantastic views along the River Exe with lots to see and do along the way.
For the hardcore mountain bikers who prefer muddy trails and challenging routes, then Woodbury Common just up the road and Haldon Hill near Exeter are great!
