Lily Farm Vineyard – Budleigh Salterton
Distance: ~20 minutes
This small, family-run vineyard offers intimate tours led by the owners themselves. You’ll stroll through the vines, learn about the winemaking process, and sample a selection of still and sparkling wines – all with a stunning view over the East Devon countryside.
Vineyard Tours:
May to July – Friday and Saturday at 11 am
Through August and September – Thursday 2 pm, Friday and Saturday at 11 am
Pebblebed Vineyards – Clyst St George
Distance: ~25 minute
Head winemaker, Alex will greet you with a welcome drink of sparkling wine. You will then be guided around the vineyard where you will learn about the different vine varieties and processes involved in growing our grapes in Devon. Alex will then take you into the winery for a guided tasting with explanations of how we craft our sparkling & still wines. To finish, enjoy a selection of farmhouse cheese & artisan charcuterie, with a glass of wine in hand! There will be the opportunity to buy from the cellar door!

Heron Farm nr Weston, Honiton
Distance: ~25 minutes
Heron Farm is more than just a vineyard – it’s a countryside haven with vines, orchards, a kitchen café, and even alpacas! Guided tours include tastings of their still and sparkling wines, with plenty of time to soak in the surroundings or enjoy a farm-fresh lunch.
Vineyard tours:
Scheduled vineyard tour on a Saturday, when Saturday’s are fully booked, an additional slot is opened on the Sunday

Distance: ~1 hour
If you’re planning a day trip a bit further west, Sharpham is well worth the drive. Situated along the River Dart, this estate is famous for both its award-winning wines and handcrafted cheeses. Enjoy guided tastings or self-guided vineyard walks, followed by lunch at their rustic vineyard kitchen.
