"Nicest self catering accommodation we've stayed in for years!"
The cottage was so clean and we were very impressed with the Covid cleaning policy on the site. Curtis was very welcoming and helpful. We'll definitely return here as it's a fantastic base to explore the coast.
"Faultless!"
This was our first time staying at Alpine Cottages and we chose here for many reasons, one of which included the impressive extra Covid safe measures they have put in place. We were not disappointed and will be returning for other visits in the future.
I can't think of a negative thing to say - and other reviewers seem to feel the same.
- spotlessly clean (inside and out)
- friendly hosts
- very comfortable beds
- plentiful hot water
- well equipped kitchen
- well kept gardens
- the lodge was bigger inside than the photos suggest
- ideal location (close to A3052 allowing easy access to seaside towns)
- despite being near road it was very quiet
- close to a good farm shop (would recommend going in the week, not weekend, and first thing in the morning or late in the evening) which served excellent Fish & Chips (order via app for Click & Collect)
- also recommend a trip to NT property at Killerton
"LOVE This Place!!!"
Just back from another fantastic week at Alpine Park Cottages! We've lost track of the number of times we've visited, but we're well into double figures!!
As always, the Park is spotlessly clean, all necessary Covid measures are in place (but without being 'in your face') - the Cottages are well spaced apart so social distancing is no problem at all.
The Park itself is well placed for visiting local seaside towns like Exmouth, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, or those a little bit further afield like Lyme Regis (think FOSSILS!!) and it's close to Exeter and the M5 if you fancy going further, so there's no shortage of things to do even if the weather is having an off day (which of course is rare in Devon!!)
The Cottages are great for families but they are perfect for my aged mum (86) as everything is on one level with no tricky steps to negotiate.
If you're thinking of visiting - DO IT - and enjoy a relaxed and peaceful holiday
"Wonderful holiday"
It was lovely to be back at Alpine Park and to feel so at home, as always. It was also good to know that everything was very safely set up in these very strange times. Sally and Curtis have worked really hard to ensure that their guests (and they) are safe and all rules have been followed.
It was very relaxing to be in such a super place for two weeks and to enjoy a really good holiday. The cottages are so well furnished and have every comfort and equipment you could wish for. And they are set in lovely grounds.
"Our Home from Home"
We walked into our chalet and instantly relaxed - we're home. It felt soooooo good, after this horrible summer, to know we had been able to get away to somewhere we felt safe.
We know that Sally and Curtis always keep the cottages to a high standard so we knew that there would be no question of the level of care and measures taken to keep everyone safe during this time.
Once again we had a lovely week - despite the weather.I even managed to find a few geocaches while dodging the showers.
Would recommend Alpine to anyone - with or without "furr babies". Cottages are spacious with everything you need. A good variety of attractions are within easy reach and there are miles of dog walks to hand.
We'll see you again next year and thanks for keeping us safe.
Ps the questions asked by TripAdvisor are for a HOTEL so really don't apply to these self catering cottages
"Lovely break"
Arriving at Alpine Park is always a pleasure and, despite having to cope with Covid-19 regulations, Sally and Curtis provide a warm welcome along with immaculately clean cottages. Looking forward to our next visit.
