"Second time this year and returning next"
Alpine Park is a lovely gentle eleven lodge site. Park by name and park by nature. Curtis the owner told us that he looked out of his bungalow window and counted thirty three rabbits on his lawn.
We stayed in Lodge 4 which is excellent. Three bedrooms, bathroom and separate wc. Beautifully decorated and all the kitchen equipment you could wish for. We really like lodges as they have only one flat floor. Our dog loves it.
You can't beat sitting on the lodge patio reading your book with a drink
"Best place to stay"
The cottages a well equipped and clean in a lovely setting. The owners are very friendly and helpful. This was really appreciated by us as we are both disabled and they were always willing to help if we had problems. I will recommend this site to anyone and look forward to going back there myself.
"Excellent stay"
Once again our 3rd time at 14.
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Very clean well presented and cannot fault the place. There are many attractions/places to visit like crealy, lyme Regis, Sidmouth etc.
We will definitely be returning without question. We loved the park and football facilities available to enjoy in the evenings.
Thank you
"Excellent Stay"
We booked 2 Comfort Plus Cottages for a family holiday celebrating a 30th Birthday. The cottages themselves are outstanding - well maintained and clean! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the friendly owners who also stay onsite which is handy if you experience any problems (which we didn't) .
The cottages are spacious and provide 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twins) and crucially a full bathroom with wc, bath and shower and additional separate WC.
The site itself is cosy with only 11 (or was it 12) cottages situated around a central green area which has a children's play area which is in easy view of all cottages meaning that you can let the children play and watch them from the comfort of the cottage. There were also a number of outdoor children's toys available to use whilst there which was more than enough to keep young child occupied!
In terms of location, the park is located just on the edge of Woodbury Common with a 10 minute drive to the beach at Exmouth or Sidmouth which is great! You can walk to the nearby Halfway Inn Pub which provides excellent food or just a few minutes drive away is The White Horse Inn that has an excellent children's play area and outdoor section.
If you're looking for a nice peaceful location to stay in East Devon that is child friendly I would certainly recommend Alpine Park Cottages!
"Ideal holiday accommodation"
Just returned from our ninth visit to Alpine Park. We had a lovely week again!
The accommodation and grounds are of a very high standard and are ideal for a large group. Each cottage is well equipped and very comfortable and the outdoor space is ideal for relaxing and socialising.
Sally, Curtis and Helen ensure that everything is done for an enjoyable holiday. Thanks again!
"Another amazing stay"
Just returned from our 6th visit to Alpine Park Cottages and re-booked for our 7th next year. What a fabulous place! Cottages are modern, clean and well equipped. Beds are super comfy and the cottage itself is very roomy with a lovely patio area with seating outside. You can also have a bbq here which Curtis will provide and bring to your cottage.
There is large field in the centre of the site with picnic tables scattered around and a children's play area which can be seen from the cottages but is close enough to see your kiddies. There is also a large field at the top of the site complete with crazy golf and football nets for the kids.
The area is stunning with loads of places to visit, my favourites are Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth, Branscombe and Beer to name but a few.
Alpine Park Cottages is truly a home from home and Curtis, Sally and Helen are delightful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they always have time to stop and chat with you.
I don't think I could manage without my yearly trip to Alpine and East Devon. Such a relaxing, wonderful place. I absolutely love it xxx
